Job Description

Be a part of a team comprised of credit risk professionals tasked with the identification of revenue opps & risk trends by monitoring the performance of our existing portfolios, growth opps, & market trends. We develop & implement strategies for credit line increases, authorizations, collections, fraud prevention, retention, & the sale of revenue based products.

The Sr. Credit Risk Analyst will primarily be responsible for driving the Bank’s incremental growth through Digital & Direct Mail Acquisition strategies. This position will focus on evaluating, analyzing, & reporting the impact & performance of digital & direct mail acquisition strategies, as well as conducting analysis to evaluate the risk of new & existing programs.

Essential job responsibilities include developing & maintaining reports to track portfolio & vintage performance & profitability, present findings to upper management & making recommendations for improvements.

The position reports directly to the Assistance Vice President responsible for Acquisition Risk Management.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Evaluating, analyzing, & reporting the impact & performance of digital & direct mail acquisition strategies.

Leading analysis in order to evaluate the risk of new & existing programs.

Assessing all application underwriting rules & strategies to align for business standards & strategic goals.

Driving incremental growth through the development of new strategies or the optimization of existing strategies in the digital & direct mail acquisitions space.

Presenting findings to upper management & making recommendations for improvements.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Math or related field.

3+ years analytical experience in Banking, Finance, Insurance or Gaming.

3+ years advanced use of at least one of the following: SQL and SAS, R, or Python.

Intellectual horsepower with problem solving & analytical skills.

Must be proficient in data mining & financial modeling procedures.

Self-starter, who can work independently with a high degree of organization on several projects at one time.

Sufficient self-confidence & ability to propose new ideas/solutions.

Ability to quickly assimilate & analyze large amounts of information.

Knowledge of financial analysis & profitability drivers.
