Digital Marketing Analyst
The Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing digital data to understand user behavior & ID opps to enhance digital program performance, new growth opps & optimize ROI. This position requires critical thinking skills & ability to process & analyze digital data sets to help make key business decisions.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Use digital analytics to generate actionable information & effectively communicate recommendations to optimize channels campaigns & web-site performance.
Contribute to building an analytics strategy & elevate digital analytics to achieve a data-driven digital marketing culture
Assist in reporting on a regular & ad-hoc basis, drawing out issues, insights & optimizations
Create, implement, & audit measurement frameworks (key performance indicators, tagging plans, reporting, analysis) align with business objectives & continual recommendations impacting web-site, content, marketing, & e-commerce
Identify analytics tracking & reporting requirements, manage best practices, & pro-actively spot any issues with data quality to improve the client experience & analysis capability.
Work closely with internal team & other departments to ensure campaign-tracking mechanisms are put into place & data collection is functioning correctly
Identify inconsistencies & gaps in data to ensure consistency & accuracy
Develop presentations with conclusions & recommendations for internal teams, other departments & senior leadership.
BS degree in related field (Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, Technology, Marketing, or Mathematics)
1-3 years of experience using digital analytical tools like Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics or other similar tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, & summarize actionable recommendations with forecasted outcomes/implications
Understanding of the technical intricacies of campaign tracking, web-site data collection, related tools & technologies, & relevant industry-wide topics (data layers, cookies, privacy, tracking tag, & data governance)
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & ability to effectively communicate findings.
Superior verbal & written communication & follow-up skills.
Flexibility & the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment.
